Kids Corner by PNP Pest Control – The insect world can be fascinating and exciting for young children. In the digital age that we live in, pushing our kids to go outside has become a real battle. With devices glued in our children’s hands, and games such as Fortnite our children’s outdoor time has been reduced dramatically.

The great outdoors opens up a world of wonder, especially for young children. However in saying this, it can also be a scary when insects bite!

As adults we understand the dangers that could be lurking in our gardens (the red back spider, funnel web spider, the Sydney trapdoor spider) just to name a few.

The problem is most kids do not have a sense of fear, nor do they understand that some of these insects can make you very sick or God forbid even kill you.

While some insects your children may be harmless, what if they come across a red back spider?

What if something was to sting them or bite them?

It is because of these fears and the excitement that come across kids faces when they see a new insect, we have decided to dedicate a section of our blog to young explorers called Kids Corner

We aim that this section will be beneficial, knowledgeable and interactive for our insect hunters.
